about

Merritone endorsed Hopeton Lewis as one of their star singers and here are two of his last recordings for the label. Both songs remained unreleased until now and the A-side 'At The Corner Of The Street' features Hopeton's dark and gloomy vocal. On the B-side, 'Move Along With Me' is a solo version of the 'Right Track' duet with Phyllis Dillon, which was recorded for Duke Reid. According to the master tape, the song was titled 'Move Along With Me' instead of 'Right Track'.
